Val’s Montpellier Play Semifinals

F. Cobolli had opportunities to break B. Coric's serve in the 2nd set and possibly force a 3rd set where anything can happen. However, he wasn't able to convert any of them and lost in straight sets. Tomorrow he back Dane H. Rune to take Coric out of this tournament.

After disposing of American M. Mmoh in straight sets today, the Dane H. Rune takes on Croat B. Coric in one of the semifinal matches of the Montpellier Open. Rune is responding well here in France after a real disappointing showing at the Aussie Open being eliminated in the 2nd round. He's won both his matches in straight sets with relative ease but Coric will be his biggest test so far. Coric has also won both his matches in straight sets, however, did have difficulty beating Italian F. Cobolli today, even though the final score was 6-3 6-4. This will be a huge upgrade in opponent for Coric as well and from the matches I've seen so far Rune is playing the better tennis. I believe Rune will take this match in straight sets.
