The Jays and Red Sox go at it again tonight when C. Bassitt faces B. Bello on the mound, Bassitt is having a disappointing 2024 season, however, he has found a way to pitch well versus the Red Sox. This will be his 3rd start versus the Red Sox and in the previous two he's allowed only 4 ER over 13 IP. Bello will also be making his 3rd start versus the Jays and it been hit or miss for him getting pummeled in one start (7 ER in 2 1/3 IP) and pitching well in the 2nd (2 ER in 6 IP). The Jays have been red hot on the offensive side over the last 10 days and I like Bassitt to outpitch Bello here leading the underdog Jays to a win.

The Orioles and Dodgers play G2 of their series tonight when C. Burnes faces W. Buehler, the O's took the opener last night by a score of 3-2. I like the over here as both starters have struggled of late, which is surprising for Burnes as he's been so good this season. Over his 4 August starts, Burnes has a 8.71 ERA with three of this games going way over the total, the O's still found a way to win 2 of his starts by scoring 9 & 7 runs in those games. Buehler hasn't been any good at all this season as he's returning from TJ surgery, his ERA is 6.09 and 4 of his last 5 starts have gone over the total. Burnes is clearly more likely to pitch better than Buehler, so I like the O's on the runline and over the total tonight.
