Sharp App's commitment
Sharp App surfaces arbitrage, +EV plays, projections, and odds so members can make smarter decisions on platforms they sign into themselves.
None of that changes our responsibility to anyone whose betting has stopped being a fun, controlled activity.
Signs to watch for
Betting can become a problem when:
- You bet more than you can afford to lose, or chase losses with bigger bets
- You bet to escape stress, anxiety, or other feelings
- You hide betting from family, friends, or partners
- You borrow money — from people, credit cards, or anywhere — to keep betting
- You feel restless or irritable when not betting
- Betting interferes with work, sleep, relationships, or personal finances
If any of these sound familiar, you're not alone — and help is available.
Tools to stay in control
State self-exclusion
Sportsbook self-exclusion
Most US states maintain self-exclusion lists that block you from real-money sportsbooks. Visit your state's gaming commission site for forms and instructions.
Spending caps
Set hard limits
Every regulated sportsbook lets you set deposit, loss, and time limits in their app. Set them before you start a session — not after.
