What are no-vig (fair) odds?
Sportsbooks bake a margin (the vig or juice) into both sides of a market, so the implied probabilities add up to more than 100%. Removing it gives the “fair” odds — the book’s true estimate of each outcome. Comparing a book’s price to the no-vig fair line is the foundation of finding +EV bets.
