The Padres and Padres close off their 4 game series this afternoon when M. King faces S. Gray on the mound. The first two games of this series were high scoring and we came back to normal yesterday with a 4-3 game and I expect more of the same this afternoon as King's and Gray's splits are impressive in this situation. King has a 2.79 road ERA with the Padres winning 8 of his 12 starts. Gray is equally impressive at home with a 2.72 ERA with the Cards winning 7 of his 12 starts. There is no reason to break your head trying to figure out who will win this game and just go with the under behind two starters achieving a lot of success in these spots.

Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 +157 & SF Giants/Milwaukee Brewers O8.5 -105

The Brewers finish off their three game series with the Giants this afternoon, it will be H. Birdsong on the mound versus A. Civale. Neither is really pitching well, as Birdsong has 4.57 ERA on the season and pitches worse on the road where his road ERA is 4.78. Birdsong has lost 4 straight starts and hasn't pitched well in August with a 7.80 ERA. Civale was acquired from Tampa in early July and really hasn't provided the Brewers with much stability to the rotation, in 8 starts the over has hit in 6 of those games as his ERA is 4.35. The Brewers have been able to win 4 of those starts as they've provided him with good run support. I like Civale to outpitch Birdsong here to cover the runline, however, I do feel there will be plenty of runs scored.
