Moneyline Bet Explained - Beginner Level Lesson 2

Beginner Level
John Alesia

I will explain to you how the money line works in sports betting.

The money line bet is a straight-up bet on which team or player will win a game. The only thing that matters is that they win. They do not need to win by a certain amount of points, like a spread bet.

You probably made bets like this in the past with friends. In the video, we go over an example bet on shooting a free throw.

Moneyline betting is the simplest form of betting. You just need to pick a winner.

The video will also go into detail on how the money line is used to calculate the probability of an event occurring and vice versa.
