Tough loss in the Munar Martinez match as we were so close to getting to a 3rd set as the 2nd set went to a tie breaker but Munar couldn't get it done.

Two Frenchmen face each other in the 1st round of the Montpellier Open tomorrow morning when 31 year old A. Escoffier faces 26 year old A. Muller. Escoffier is a journeyman tennis player who plays the majority if not all of his matches on the Challenger tour and had to play through qualifying rounds to get into this tournament. Escoffier has had zero success this season losing matches on the Challenger tour to players ranked #126 & #330. Muller for his part couldn't get out of the 1st round of the Aussie Open losing a marathon 5 set match but was much better in Auckland before that reaching the quarterfinals. Muller is the younger more talented player and will increase his H2H record versus Escoffier to 3-1 when he covers the 3 games in this match.
