We hit our 3rd straight tennis play yesterday as K. Pliskova took care of business with relative ease over A. Bogdan winning the Cluj-Napoca Open in straight sets. Today we have a play for the Delray Beach Open.

Italian M. Arnaldi faces Japan's Y. Nishioka in the first round of the Delray Beach Open this afternoon. Nishioka has not played much tennis to this point this season with only 4 matches played, and he just withdrew from his 2nd round match at the Dallas Open never even starting it., so you have wonder how healthy he is for this match today. Nishioka does not play a power game and usually bests his opponents by using his endurance to out work them. However, if not 100% healthy he will be no match for the young Italian today. Arnaldi has been climbing the ranks on the ATP tour since 2021 and now ranks 43rd overall. Arnaldi is healthier and playing better tennis that Nishioka so I will back him to take this match.
