Val’s Delray Beach Open Play Round 2
Val
Our N. Osaka play is a no action as Tsurenko withdraws and Osaka walks over to the 3rd round. We go for our 6 straight win with a Delray Beach Open play.
Record 15-14 (+0.60 units)
Patrick Kypson -137 (Risk 2.74 for 2 units) Expected start time 1pm EST Feb 14th.
American P. Kypson got his first ever win on the ATP tour yesterday over M. Kecmanovic, what a journey it has been for the 24 year old. In 2017 Kypson won USTA 18s National Championship where he defeated S. Korda and JJ Wolf, proving he can beat quality opponents on tour. However since then, injuries to his elbow & abdomen have derailed his path limiting him to 16 & 23 matches played in 2019 & 2020, all of which were on the Challenger tour. Kypson is finally healthy and having a high talent level, will surprise opponents going forward. His win over #40 Kecmanovic was proof of that yesterday. His opponent today, 31 year Frenchman C. Lestienne will suffer the same fate. I like Kypson to win this match.
