American F. Tiafoe faces fellow American A. Michelsen in the 2nd round of the Dallas Open tonight. Tiafoe hasn't played much so far this tennis season with only 4 matches under his belt with a 2-2 record, however, you can't deny his talent as he ranked in the top 10 last season. Michelson impressed at the Aussie Open winning two matches, his 2nd round win was especially impressive versus Czech J. Lehecka. With that being said Tiafoe is a significant upgrade in talent for Michelsen to handle as an opponent, a little similar to what he faced in the 3rd round of the Aussie Open when he faced A. Zverev and lost in straight sets. I like Tiafoe to play his best match of 2024 and that this one in straight sets.
