Memphis Tigers +130
The UCF Knights (6-2) visit the Memphis Tigers (4-4) this afternoon. Knights QB J. Plumlee suffered a concussion last week versus the Cincy Bearcats and is possibly not going to play today which will have an effect on the Knights offense. The Tigers have a very good pass attack and will be able to move the ball versus the Knights pass defense, with a total set at 59.5 we can expect a lot of points to be scored. This is a series that has been dominated by the home team ATS with an 11-0 record, with the line at only 3.5, I will back the Tigers to win this game straight up.
Minnesota TWolves -8.5 -106
The Twolves laid an egg last night versus the Bucks in a situation where they had an advantage catching them in a sandwich road game but the Twolves were never really in it from tip off. Luckily for the Twolves, they have a chance to rebound tonight versus a really bad road team in the Rockets. The Rockets are 0-6 on the road this season and with be catching the TWolves in nasty mood after last night’s no show. If A. Edwards, KAT and company play to the level of their actual talent they should be able to cover this number. I like the TWolves big here.
Nashville Predators/Vancouver Canucks O6.5 even
The Predators continue their road trip tonight with a visit to Vancouver to face the Canucks. The Preds played a solid game last time out versus the Flames beating them 4-1. Tonight they face a team in the Canucks that looks to be turning the corner, after starting the season with 7 straight losses, they’ve won 3 of 4 and scoring a boat load of goals in the process. In their last 4 games they’ve scored a combined 20 goals, however, their goaltending hasn’t been great and they’ve allowed 15 in the 4 games. When this 2 teams play goals come easy as 7 of the last 10 meetings have gone over the total and combine that with way both teams are scoring of late, the over is the play here.
Calgary Flames -1.5 +148
The Devils visit the Flames tonight in Calgary, we have teams going in opposite directions, the Devils have won 5 straight while the Flames have lost 3 straight. The Devils have been clicking on offense scoring 23 goals during this 5 game winning streak. However, going into Calgary and winning isn’t something the Devils have had much success doing as they’ve lost their last 4 games there and haven’t beaten the Flames on the road or at home since 2017. I think this is a get right spot for the Flames and they win this game by a couple of goals.
