Calgary Flames +114

The Flames are in Pittsburg to face the Penguins tonight, both sides are playing much better of late after going through long losing streaks prior, which isn’t surprising as both teams are a very good on paper, therefore, a rebound was expected. However, I do feel that the Flames are a much deeper team than the Penguins as they do get more production from the 2nd & 3rd lines. The Flames offense is starting to kick having scored 3 or more goals in 4 or their last 5 games and have also dominated this matchup winning 9 of the last 13 games. I like them at plus money tonight to continue that trend.

Columbus Blue Jackets -1.5 +203

The Blue Jackets host the Canadiens tonight in Columbus. Don’t look now but the Jackets have won 4 of their last 6, mainly due to their offense waking up. They’ve scored 3 or more goals in 5 of their last 6 games. Tonight they face the Habs that are off an embarrassing 7-2 beat down to the Sabres, it was 3-0 Sabres less than 3 minutes into the game and they never looked back. The Habs defense and goaltending has been in shambles for over 2 weeks now surrendering 4 or more goals in 5 straight games. I don’t think the Habs have the offense to go toe to toe with the Jackets tonight and like them to lose by multiple goals. The Jackets have won 6 straight versus the Habs win 4 of the wins by multiple goals.

Atlanta Hawks -4.5 -106

The Hawks (10-7) host the Sacramento Kings (10-6) tonight in Atlanta. Am I in a time warp but the last time the Kings won 7 straight was in the days of C. Webber & J. “White Chocolate” Williams. Now with that being said many of the wins were versus much weaker teams (SA, BKN, LAL & Det), but hey you still need to win the games and give them credit for that. Tonight is a rough spot for them in my opinion, a B2B on the road off a straight up victory and it will also be their 3rd game in 4 nights. I can see the Kings coming out flat from the start of this game or fade late, either way I see the Hawks covering the number.
