The Mariners snapped a 3 game losing streak and won only their 2nd game in 9 in a big way last night in a 10-0 win over the White Sox. A 8 run first inning set the tone for the evening, and tonight the Mariners will welcome the newly acquired R. Arozarena to their lineup which should help especially with the injury to J. Rodriguez. It will be B. Woo versus E. Fedde on the mound, Woo has pitched very well for the Mariners this season with 2.54 ERA and a 0.87 WHIP. Fedde has also pitched very well this season and is one of the very few bright spots for the White Sox, the issue for Fedde this season has been going deep into games, his norm has been 5-6 IP and then the putrid White Sox bullpen takes over and then the game normally gets out of hand. I like the Mariners to stay hot offensively tonight in a big win, I like the M's on the runline and over the total. 

Arizona DBacks -1.5 +132

The DBacks look to win their 4th straight game tonight when they face the Pirates and continue their ascent up the NL Wild Card standings. It will be M. Gonzales versus B. Pfaadt on the mound, Gonzales has pitched very well in two starts since coming off the IL in mid July, however, Pfaadt has been even better and almost unhittable since June 30th. Over Pfaadt's last 4 starts, he's pitched 23 1/3 IP allowed only 2 ER while striking out 25 batters, the DBacks have won 3 of those 4 starts by two runs or more. Gonzales currently has a 2.70 ERA and his career ERA is significantly higher than that so clearly regression is in the cards for him. I like Pfaadt and the DBacks by multiple runs tonight.
