Val’s Big Payday Parlay January 27th 2023

Val

We go 1-2 last night, the Jets played a stinker at home versus the Sabres and the Suns really disappointed losing straight up to the Mavs even after Luka was injured and only played 3 minutes. We hit on play on the Caps that beat the Pens in shootout.

New York Islanders -175

The Islanders host the Red Wings tonight in Long Island. The Wings are on a B2B after barely getting by the Habs last night 4-3 in overtime. The Wings have won 2 straight in OT and considering they played the Habs and Sharks you have to be somewhat worried about their play if they can't put those teams away in regulation. The Isles are really struggling right now having lost 6 straight and 9 of 10, however, they've really dominated the Wings having won the last 5 home games. I know the line is high considering the lack of success lately by I like the Isles here.

Dallas Stars -158

The Devils visit the Stars in Dallas tonight, the Devils are another team that will be on a B2B tonight. If the Devils go with V. Vanecek in goal we should have a nice matchup of goalies as the Stars have already confirmed J. Oettinger. The Devils did not look good last night in Nashville giving up 6 goals and had many defensive miscues. Also, the Devils haven't had much success versus the Stars losing 5 of the last 6 meetings, nor having any success in Dallas losing 10 of the last 14 games there. I like the Stars to get back on the winning track by taking care of business versus a team they have dominated.

Golden State Warriors -5 -106

The Warriors host the Raptors tonight, the Raptors made me look bad when I went against the Wednesday versus the Kings leading from opening tip off and never looking back. Tonight they face a team in the Warriors that have dominated on their home court all season and the Raps have struggled on the road. The Raptors have never had much success winning or covering the spread in Golden State. They're 6-14 ATS in their last 20 meetings there and I just don't see them running off two straight road wins especially versus a home team as dominant as the Warriors.
