The Kraken begin a road trip with a visit to the Sabres tonight, both sides are playing well at the moment with the Kraken having won 6 straight and the Sabres having won 3 of their last 4. Both sides are finally getting better performances from their goalies and you're seeing the results in the win category. The Kraken have also had issues winning games on the road with regularity as they're only 7-6-6 on the season. The Sabres have been the better offensive side on the season averaging 3 goals per game compared to 2.7 for the Kraken. I like the Sabres to get a home win tonight.

Vancouver Canucks/NY Islanders O6.5 -105

The Canucks will be on a B2B versus the Islanders tonight after easily disposing of the Rangers last night 6-3. The Islanders are well rested for this matchup having not played since Saturday. The Canucks will most probably be starting C. DeSmith with T. Demko playing yesterday and the Isles have confirmed I. Sorokin, Sorokin has played plenty of late (7 of last 8 games) with the injury to S. Varlamov. It really hasn't helped his performance as he's allowed 4 goals or more in 4 of the games with a subpar GAA of .892. With the offenses of both sides and sketchy goaltending, I like the over here.

Calgary Flames -1.5 +180

The Flames look to end a 2 game losing streak as they return home from a 4 game road trip. Their last loss what a terrible one as they lost 4-3 to an injury depleted Blackhawks team. Tonight the face the Sens whom themselves have lost 3 straight all by multiple goals before heading back east to face the Sabres before then heading back home. The coaching change for the Sens has not yielding many positive benefits to this point, like I mentioned already coaching cannot make goaltenders make saves which has been a issue for the Sens since day 1 of the season. I like the Flames by multiple goals here versus a bad defensive Sens team.
