Val’s Big Payday Parlay, pays +875
NJ Devils -1.5 +149
The Devils are in Washington to face the Caps whom will be on a B2B after a hard fought win over the Pens 4-3 last night. The Caps were able to snap a 4 game losing streak, however, the Pens are not the team they've been in the past as they sit in 7th spot in the Metropolitan division. The Devils have underperformed as well to this point especially how high expectations were to start the season as they only sit 6th in the Metro division. If the Devils can get an even a decent level of goaltending they would much higher in the standings. The Caps look to be going with H. Shepard in goal and he will be making only his 5th start of the season, one of which was versus the Devils and he gave up 4 goals. I expect the same type of performance from Shepard in a Devils multi goal win.
Toronto Maple Leafs/Anaheim Ducks O6.5 -125
The Leafs closed out or winning parlay yesterday, today we use them again but this time to score and score often versus the Ducks. They were contained offensively last night versus the Kings in a 3-0 victory. Tonight they get to take advantage of a weak defensive Ducks team that gives up goals, as good as J. Gibson is and can be, unfortunately the team in front of him doesn't help him enough. The Leafs are looking to be starting D. Hildeby, the Swede is a 4th round pick that has yet to play an NHL game but I do not envision him shutting down or limiting the Ducks chances. I like a high scoring game here tonight.
NY Knicks -9 -105
The Knicks host the Bulls tonight at MSG, the Bulls continue to be shorthanded as they will be missing N. Vucevic and Z. Lavine, veteran D. DeRozan has been picking up the slack offensively but the Bulls have only cracked 100 points once in 3 games since both have been missing. With the addition of defensive stalwart OG Anunoby I wonder how effective DeRozan will be on a B2B game as well. That will make the Bulls very reliant on C. White, P. Williams and A. Caruso to lead the way offensively, that isn't a recipe for success. I like the Knicks to cover this number with ease tonight.
