The Sharks made us look bad as they shutout the Kraken 2-0 at home as M. Blackwood was great stopping all 32 shots he faced. They now have to play a B2B when they visit the Ducks tonight. The Sharks have been able to win 4 of their last 5 games, however, they've given up over 30 shots per game in everyone and with the struggles of their goalies Blackwood and Kakhonen overall on the season, this isn't a recipe for success. The Ducks have been playing better of late winning 2 of their last 3 games what their loss coming in OT versus the Stars enabling them to register 5 out of a possible 6 points in those 3 games. The Ducks are looking for revenge in this matchup as they lost in SJ 11 days ago 5-3 and I like them to get it tonight.

Two teams that have been struggling meet in Nashville when the Preds host the Kings tonight. The Kings have lost 4 straight and 8 of their last 10 games, while the Preds have lost 6 of their last 10 showing neither team is playing well. Neither goalie between C. Talbot & D. Rittich has been able to stop the bleeding for the Kings as they given up 18 goals over this 4 game losing streak. The Preds are also struggling defensively as well having given up 3+ goals in 4 of their last 5 games. The Preds have dominated this matchup winning 7 of the last 10 meetings and with both sides struggling I will back the home dog Preds tonight.

Detroit Pistons +13 -109

Don't look know but the Pistons have actually won 2 of their last 3 games. Yes one came versus the equally bad Charlotte Hornets, however, the other came versus one of the best teams in the league in the OKC Thunder. The Pistons were also able to win both those games without arguably their best player in C. Cunningham, he's expected to return tonight which can only help the chances to cover this game. These teams have played twice so far this season and the Cavs won both but didn't cover a number this high winning by 9 & 8 points. As bad as the Pistons have been this season they've been an ATS machine of late covering in 7 of their last 8 games. I like them to keep the score within the number for the 3rd straight game versus the Cavs.
