Two middling teams of late meet tonight when the Preds visit the Senators. The Preds are 5-5 over their last 10 games while the Sens are 4-4-2, it doesn't get more mediocre than that. The Preds will have a slight advantage in goal as they're projected to go with with J. Saros and the Sens countering with M. Sogaard. Looking at the offensive side of both teams, the advantage clearly lies with the Sens, they've scored 3+ plus in 7 of their last 10 games. The Preds haven't even come close to that as they've only scored 3 goals in a game twice over their last 7. Tonight is the last game of a 3 game road trip that has seen the Preds travel through 3 time zones in 5 days and this has the making of a game where they come out flat and get beat bad. I like the Sens by multiple goals and over the total.

NY Knick -9 -105

The Knicks look to extend their winning streak to 7 tonight when they face the Hornets. With injuries to M. Williams, G. Hayward and L. Ball not 100% healthy and with T. Rozier recently traded the Hornets offense has been non existent averaging a mere 107 points per game over their last 10 games, leaving them at the bottom of the league's net offensive rating. They're also towards the bottom of the league's defensive rating as well and that will be an issue versus the Knicks that rank 2nd in offensive rating. This game has the look of another blowout loss for the Hornets and because of that I will back the Knicks -9.
