Boston Bruins -1.5 +182 & Boston Bruins/Carolina Hurricanes O6 -101
The Bruins host the Canes tonight at TD Garden, the Canes have won 7 of their last 10 games, however, have lost 2 of their last 3 games mainly due to the lackluster play from goalie A. Raanta (3.20 GAA). The Canes are projected to start S. Martin in goal and as odd as it sounds, is actually a downgrade to Raanta as Martin's GAA is 3.64 with a .886 save percentage. The Bruins are on a 5 game winning streak and lighting up the lamp in the process, they've scored 4, 3, 5, 9 & 4 goals respectively in their wins, winning their last 4 wins by multiple goals. The Bruins have won their last 4 home games versus the Canes, with 3 of those being by multiple goals. Expect the same type of result tonight versus Martin and the Canes.
Vancouver Canucks -.5 -149 (regulation)
The Blues visit the Canucks tonight, the Blues will be on a B2B after coming from behind in the 3rd period to beat the Flames 4-3 last night. With J. Binnington getting the call last night, J. Hofer will most probably be the starter tonight, Hofer is having an average season at best with a 2.88 GAA. Canucks' #1 goalie T. Demko is getting hot again having won his last 5 starts while allowing only 8 goals and registering 2 shutouts. He is a major reason why the Canucks are atop the Pacific division and one of the best teams in the NHL. The Canucks have won 8 of their last 10 games with only one victory outside of regulation, and I like them to get the win versus the Blues inside 60 minutes.
