Two teams playing well meet tonight when the Red Wings visit the Canes, both are 7-2-1 over their last 10 games. The Red Wings wins have been supported by solid goaltending from the combo of A. Lyon and J. Reimer, with with injuries to F. Andersen and P. Kochetkov the Canes have been heavily reliant on A. Raanta. Raanta hasn't been able to take the reigns and run with it as the veteran has an unimpressive 3.28 GAA and underwhelming .869 save percentage. With both teams playing well the line looks very skewed to me because of the past success of the Canes. I will back the Wings on the puck line as I feel they will keep this game close through out.

NY Islanders/Chicago Blackhawks U6 -114

The Isles finish off a four game road trip in Chicago tonight, to say this trip has been disappointing in an understatement as they're 0-3 with 3 goals scored in those losses. The Blackhawks have lost 8 of their last 10 games and as I mentioned in my write up a couple of days ago, since the C. Bedard injury the Blackhawks offense has come to a complete halt. They've scored a combined 4 goals over their last 5 games, I guess the one bright spot is that they were actually able to win one of the 5 games. The under is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams and considering how offensively challenged both sides are right now, the under is the play here.

Orlando Magic +176

The Magic return from home from a four game road trip to host the 76ers tonight. It wasn't a good road trip as the Magic went 1-3, they will be happy to be home where the have a lot more success with their 13-5 record. The 76ers aren't that great on the road this season at 10-7 and recently have lost to inferior teams on the road in the Hawks and Bulls. The 76ers will be without starter D. Melton for this game and have been without a key bench contributor in R. Covington since the beginning of January and that makes them vulnerable here. I like the Magic to right the ship and get back on the winning track at home versus the 76ers.
