The Red Wings host the Oilers tonight trying to end the Oilers 8 game winning streak. Over the last couple of seasons the proven over and over again that they're a streaky team that when they're in a good space like now they look like Stanley Cup contenders, then their goaltending goes down the tube and look like the team that started this season losing 10 of their first 12 games. They have confirmed C. Pickard as they starter and he have to be honest here, Pickard is a journeyman goalie never really being able to stick with a team longer than a couple of seasons. The Red Wings are most probably going with A. Lyon and he's performed well in 12 starts. The Red Wings are a solid team on home ice and have won 4 of their last 5 games, all good things come to an end and this is what will happen to the Oilers win streak.

Calgary Flames/Phoenix Coyotes O6 -114

The Flames travel to the desert to face the Coyotes tonight, both teams have being playing so so at best of late with the Flames having lost 2 of their last 3 while the Yotes have only won 1 of their last 4. The one things both sides have been doing is giving up goals, the Flames have given up 3+ goals in 5 of their last 6 games while the Yotes have done the same. With neither team playing tomorrow, I expect both J. Markstrom and C. Ingram to be in goal and normally you would feel happy to play the under with them in goal, but both are currently struggling pushing the over as the play.

NY Rangers -.5 even (regulation)

The Rangers are in St Louis to face the Blues tonight. The Rangers look to rebound off 2 bad losses, Saturday versus the Habs on the road, a game in which they're clearly the better team on paper and Monday being seriously outplayed at home versus the Canucks. The Blues are off a bad home loss 5-1 to the Panthers where they were totally outplayed. The Rangers have been one of the NHL's best on the road this season with a 13-5-2 record and should be able to use the talent gap between their roster and that of the Blues to win this game in regulation.
