Val’s Big Payday Parlay February 9th 2023

Val

We go 2-1 last night missing by a game, Penn St took a 3 point lead late and were right there for a cover but the game ended up going to OT and they never had a chance to cover after that.

Seattle Kraken/NJ Devils O6.5 -101

Seattle travels to Jersey to face the Devils tonight. The Kraken hope to rebound from their awful showing the other night when they were shutout 4-0 by the Islanders. The Devils look to build on their OT win over the Canucks. The Devils offense has been clicking as the over has hit in 7 of their last 10 games and facing projected starter P. Grubauer should help make it 8 of 11, Grubauer has a GAA over 3.00 and a save percentage under .900. The Kraken score on average over 4 goals a game on the road and don’t see why they wouldn’t get close to than again tonight. I like the over here.

Vegas Golden Knights +104

The Golden Knights are in Minny to face the Wild. The Wild will be on a B2B and third game in four night since the start of the second half of the season and they haven’t looked good at all so far. With back to back losses to the Coyotes and Stars the Wild have fallen into fourth spot in the Central division and will be in a dog fight for a playoff spot this season. It doesn’t get any easier for them tonight as they face one of the best road teams in the NHL in the Golden Knights at 16-5-3-1. The Knights looked great the other night versus the Preds winning 5-1 and limiting them to only 17 shots on goal. Tonight probably won’t be that easy versus Wild but still like the Knights to get the win.

Florida Panthers -.5 -150 (regulation)

The Sharks are in Florida to play the Panthers; the Sharks got a big win over the Bolts last game 4-3 in OT. The Panthers are also off a win over the Bolts when they manhandled them 7-1 on Monday. The Panthers have now won 2 in row beating really good teams in the Bruins and Bolts. Their offense is clicking as well having scored 3 or more goals in four straight games. The Panthers have won 7 straight and 9 of the last 10 meetings versus the Sharks. As the long as the Panthers don’t fall into the trap of playing down to the level of competition they should have no issue taking this game in regulation.
