Val’s Big Payday Parlay February 7th 2023
Val
We go 1-2 last night as the Isles played well versus the Flyers, unfortunately, the Devils blew a 3 goal lead and were forced to go to OT ruining our regulation play on them and A. Vasilevskiy had his worst game as professional goalie giving 7 goals in a game.

Chicago Blackhawks -123
Tonight we have a game between two of the worst teams in the NHL with the Ducks and Blackhawks. It is very difficult to find something positive to say about either side in all honesty, the Ducks will be on a B2B after playing the Stars tough but still ended up on the losing end. The Blackhawks will be playing their first game after the All Star break. The Hawks would need to start a rebuild but unfortunately for them their former stars J. Toews and P. Kane have already advised the organization they will not wave their no trades clauses meaning their stuck with their contracts going forward. The Ducks have yet to win a game this season on a B2B (0-6), have lost the last 5 meetings in Chicago and the last 8 meetings overall versus the Hawks. I will back the Hawks as a small home favorite.
Colorado Avalanche -108
The Avs are in Pittsburgh to face the Penguins tonight. It will be P. Francouz versus C. DeSmith in goal, and to say DeSmith has struggled of late in an understatement. He’s given up 13 goals against in his last 3 starts and the Penguins were lucky enough to win one of those games 7-6 in OT versus the Panthers. The Avs were rolling going into the All Star break winning 7 of 8 games and I don’t think the time off will affect their play tonight. The Avs are as healthy as they’ve been all season and are starting to look like the team that won the Stanley Cup last season. I don’t think DeSmith will play well enough to give the Penguins a chance to win this game.
Nashville Predators -107
The Predators host the Golden Knights tonight as both teams will be playing their first game after the All Star break. Before the break, these were teams heading in opposite directions; the Knights had lost 8 of their last 10 games, while the Preds had won 5 of their last 6. The Knights offense has had a real rough go at it scoring a combined 21 goals during that rough 10 game stretch and now an injury to M. Stone and a matchup with the Preds aren’t ideal to get things going. The Preds have really been playing better of late and think they take this game on home ice.
