The Sabres host the Blue Jackets tonight, the Jackets have actually looked respectful in their last two games beating the Oilers on home ice while taking the Wild to OT in a 3-2 loss. However, waiting for them tonight is a Sabres team that has won 5 of their last 6 and has been lighting up the lamp scoring 3 or more goals in all 6. The Achilles heal of the Jackets has been their goaltending all season as the combo of E. Merzlikins & J. Korpisalo just hasn't gotten the job done. I just don't see a situation where the Jackets will outscore the Sabres tonight, I like them to get the job done in regulation.

San Jose Sharks -.5 -101 (regulation)

The Habs begin a west coast road trip in San Jose versus the Sharks tonight, the Habs do not have a good history of success playing games on the west coast, I guess the California affects them in a negative way. The Habs never have success against the Sharks as they've lost 9 of the last 10 meetings overall and haven't been competitive in many of the games as 8 of the 9 losses have been by 2 goals or more. Even though the Sharks traded their best forward in T. Meier to the Devils I like them here versus the Habs at home.

Detroit Red Wings/Ottawa Senators U6.5 -111

The Red Wings are in Ottawa again to face the Senators tonight in a rare B2B for both teams in the same city; after the Red Wings to a 2-1 lead in the second period it was all Sens after that as they scored 5 unanswered goals in a 6-2 win. Tonight the Wings go back to V. Husso in goal while the Sens will counter with M. Sogaard and that help the under come in as both have performed better than the 2 goalies that started last night. Both teams have trended to the under more often this season and I expect that to come to fruition tonight.
