We knew the parlay was dead nice and early last night as the Jets went down 4-1 in the first period to the Avs. Some nights will be like that, today we have another 3 team hockey parlay.

The Blue Jackets host the Oilers this afternoon in a game where you would think the Oilers take seriously and do not play down to the level of competition. The Oilers have now won 2 straight after looking terrible in their 4 games prior to that that saw them look really bad on the defensive end as they gave up 22 goals. Today they face one of the worst teams in the league in Columbus and honestly should be able to name the score here. The Oilers are currently in the playoffs but cannot afford to go through any slumps or lose a game to a team like this going forward are the playoffs could be in jeopardy. I like them to get it done in regulation today.

Calgary Flames +101

The Avs host the Flames tonight at Ball Arena; the Avs will be on a B2B after taking care of the Jets with relative ease last night 5-1 on the road. Now they have a B2B with travel involved and have to take on the Flames that are more or less fighting for their playoff spot. The Avs are only 3 points ahead of the Flames for a potential playoff spot and this will be an important game for both teams. The road team has had a lot of success in this matchup of late winning 5 of the last 7 games and I can see the Flames taking this game as games are starting to be must wins for them.

Dallas Stars/Vegas Golden Knights U6 -116

The Stars visit Sin City tonight to take on the Golden Knights; here is a situation where we have two under teams, the Stars are battling the Jets for the best record to the under at 35-19 in the NHL while the Golden Knights aren’t too shabby themselves at 30-23 to the under. It all comes down to good goaltending and good defensive play which both teams excel at. Stars goalie J. Oettinger in one of the best goalies in the league and even though the Knights are projected to go with #3 L. Brossoit, their defensive stalwarts A. Pietrangelo, S. Theodore, A. Martinez and B. McNabb will make up for any of his deficiencies. I like a low scoring game here.
