We miss by a game again as we hit both our NHL plays but the Friars got trounced by the Huskies on the road. Tonight we stick to 3 NHL games for the parlay.

New Jersey Devils -144

The Devils host the Kings tonight and look to rebound from a real embarrassing loss to the Habs on Tuesday when then were a favorite at over -300. The Kings will be playing game 2 of the east coast road trip which didn’t start off well with a 2-1 loss to the Wild. As of now, the projection is the Kings to start J. Quick as they will be on a B2B versus the Islanders tomorrow. If that is the case the clear advantage in goal will be to the Devils as V. Vanecek is clearly the better of the two. I like the Devils here to rebound on home ice and get back on the winning track.

Detroit Red Wings +134

The Rangers are in Detroit to face the Red Wings tonight; this is game 1 of a mini 2 game road trip for the Rangers that will be in Washington to face the Caps on Saturday. The Wings are back home from a five game road trip that saw them go 4-1 as they played really well. The Rangers offense has simmered down of late after being red hot for a 7 game span which is kind of expected as a team will never be able to score 5-6 goals forever. The Wings are way ahead of schedule in their rebuild and are looking to make the playoffs for the first time in a while. I don’t think they should be a dog on home ice unless playing the elite of the NHL, the Rangers are not elite this season and I will back the Wings here.

Vegas Golden Knights -130

The Knights host the Flames tonight in Sin City; the Flames will be on a B2B after beating the Yotes 6-3 last night. Last night we backed the Flames on the puck line as we mentioned that they had dominated the Yotes for quite so time. Well tonight we have another situation like that, this time against the Flames; they have never beaten the Knights in Vegas since they joined the NHL. They have lost all 7 games they’ve played in Vegas, with that kind of history, being on a B2B and the Knights off an embarrassing loss to the Blackhawks, I don’t think the Flames will come out victorious tonight.
