Val’s Big Payday Parlay, pays +691

Ottawa Senators -.5 -108 regulation

The Senators host the Blues for an afternoon game today; the Blues will be on a B2B after losing to the Avs yesterday afternoon 4-1. The Blues in the last 2 weeks traded away V. Tarasenko and R. O’Reilly and will also be missing P. Buchnevich to injury. That pretty much leaves them only with J. Kyrou and R. Thomas as their main offensive players, and if opposing teams are able to shut them down the Blues will be in trouble offensively going forward. The Sens have won 6 of their last 8 games and should be able to get the job versus this depleted Blues roster.

Edmonton Oilers -108

The Oilers are in Colorado to face the Avs this afternoon. Anthony and I were discussing this game earlier this morning and we were somewhat perplexed by the line. We have the Oilers that have lost 4 of their last 5 games and are on the road versus the Avs that have won 3 of 4. The only thing that Avs have going against them is that they will be on a B2B; however, they haven’t been bad in this spot at 4-2 on the season. This has the makings of a trap game to me where you expect the Avs to roll here and this will be the game were McDavid and Draisaitl go off. I’ll bit and back the Oilers here.

Winnipeg Jets/ NJ Devils U6.5 -116

The Jets are in Jersey to face the Devils tonight. The Jets continue to be one of the best teams in the league to back the under with as it is hitting at a whopping 73%. The Devils for their part are starting to play under as well as 3 of their last 4 games have gone under. The Jets should be going with C. Hellebuyck as D. Rittich played the last game and whenever he’s in goal your first reaction has to be to play the under as he has a GAA 2.41. The Devils will be on a B2B and the under has hit in 4 of the 7 occasions so far this season. I expect a low scoring game between two quality teams.
