Val’s Big Payday Parlay February 18th 2023

Val

We hit a nice parlay yesterday at +709, we got a nice come from behind with from the Rangers that were down 4-1 after the first period, while the over in that game was never in doubt and the Kings took care of business versus the Ducks.

Val’s Big Payday Parlay, pays +500

Calgary Flames -138

The Flames host the Rangers tonight; the Rangers will be off on a B2B after an amazing come from behind victory in which they were down 4-1 after the first period to the Oilers. Now they have to face a Flames team that is looking to rebound from two straight losses, a player agent was talking about how the coach is killing the team moral in the locker room in the media and defensemen C. Tanev speaking out on how the team is too inconsistent. I like the Flames here because they have a lot of character in their dressing room and think the will put all this drama behind them and the Rangers haven’t played well in Calgary in a long time, they haven’t won a game in the Saddledome since 2018.

Buffalo Sabres -120

The Sabres are in San Jose to face the Sharks tonight, the Sabres snapped their four game losing streak the other night versus the Ducks in a big way 7-3 and I like them to take advantage of another weak team in the Sharks tonight. The Sharks are just atrocious on home ice at 5-13-3-4 and are having real issues putting the puck in the net scoring a combined two goals over their last two games. The Sabres are a solid road team at 16-8-1-1 and this is the last leg of a mini three game road trip for them in which their 1-1 so far. I like them to head back home to Buffalo with a victory tonight.

Seattle Kraken -172

The Red Wings are in Seattle to face the Kraken tonight. The Wings are rolling right now having won five straight and this has been achieved versus all west coast Canadian teams, they’ve beaten the Flames twice, Canucks twice and the Oilers. Tonight will be a much tougher task versus the Kraken that are a very balanced team on the offensive end as they get contribution from all their lines. Plus the Wings were able to take advantage of suspect goaltending from the opponents while tonight they will face P. Grubauer who’s been real hot of late, he’s allowed a combined 11 goals over his last 6 starts. I like the Kraken here to get the job done on home ice.
