Miami Heat +151
The Heat host the Clippers tonight, both sides have been playing plenty of basketball as each will be playing their 4th game in 6 days. The Heat went through a rough stretch in the middle of January losing 7 straight and it's rare you can say this but the injury to rookie J. Jacquez was the main reason for it as he's been a major contributor to the Heat's success this season. Since returning and providing his regular 25-30 minutes a game of the bench the Heat have looked much better. The Heat have won their last 2 games looking much better on the defensive end holding the Kings and Wizards to under 107 points in both games. I like the Heat to lock down the Clippers and win this game as a home dog.
Milwaukee Bucks/Utah Jazz O246.5 -108
The Bucks won the first game of their 5 game road trip last night in a huge comeback win over the Mavs. Down 24 points after the 1st quarter the Bucks never looked back outscoring the Mavs by 36 points over the next 3 quarters to take the game 129-117. The Jazz are a team that isn't strong at playing defense and loves to take shots on the offensive end. The Jazz rank in the top 10 in 3PTA, 3PTM & 3PT% and because of this the over has hit in 7 of their last 10. With the Bucks being on a B2B, their defensive intensity may not be as high as it normally is. I like the over here between two teams that like to play up tempo and make a lot of shots.
Minnesota T Wolves -7 -109
The T Wolves host the Rockets tonight in their last home before heading out on a 5 game road trip that will lead into the All Star Break. The T Wolves will look to make up for a bad loss they suffered to the Magic as they lost outright 108-106 on Friday night. The T Wolves have not lost often at home this season as they sit at 18-5. The Rockets (23-25) have rebounded quite well this season considering how God awful they've been over the last 3-4 season but haven't been good at all on the road with a 5-16 record. The main reason being that their offensive and defensive play hasn't been up to par on the road. That isn't a good combination when you play a strong defensive team in the T Wolves that ranks in the top 7 in every measurable category. I like the Wolves to get a win and cover before they head out onto their long road trip.
