Val's Big Payday Parlay Feb 17th 2024

We hit a 2 teamer yesterday with the push on the O6 for Canes/Yotes game so we have a payout of +437
Val’s Big Payday Parlay, pays +1122
Carolina Hurricanes/LV Knights U6 +102
Last night we liked the over for the Canes in their game versus the Yotes and we were so close to cashing it in as we were at 6 goals with 15 minutes left to play in the 3rd but were not able to get that extra one, so we had to settle for a push. Tonight the Canes are on a B2B versus one of the better defense teams and goalies in A. Hill and the Knights. I also watched the game last night and to say that I'm impressed on how solid the Canes are defensively is an understatement. Even up 4 goals in the 3rd the Canes and in a situation where they could have been lackadaisical defensively they were the total opposite, all over the Yotes not allowing them to enter the offensive zone. That shows the expectation of HC R. Brind'Amour on how committed he expects his players to be. The Knights will have A. Hill and his 2.00 GAA between the pipes which will also limit the Canes on the offensive end. I like the under at plus money here.
Boston Bruins -.5 +105 (regulation)
The Bruins host the Kings this afternoon looking to snap a 3 game losing streak and end one of their worst stretches of the season. The B's have lost 4 of their last 5 games and their offense is struggling to score goals, in their 4 losses they've scored a combined 4 goals. At least they can say that they're goaltending and defensive play are still solid as they aren't getting beat badly. Even with this terrible stretch on home ice, the Bruins are still one of the best teams in the NHL at home at 17-7-4, and you know they will right the ship as they have too much talent up and down their lineup. The Kings are no slouches but I like the Bruins to bounce back here and get back on the winning track.
Minnesota Wild -1.5 +171
The Sabres are in Minnesota to face the Wild tonight. The Wild are playing really well of late winning 7 of their last 9 games and have been lighting up the lamp with ease. They've scored 3+ goals in 6 of their 7 wins and have been getting good goaltending from the combo of F. Gustavsson and future HOF MA. Fleury. The Sabres have lost 3 of 4 and outside of their 7 goal outburst versus the Kings in their win, they've only scored a combined 3 goals in those losses. The Sabres offensive tends to be all or nothing, they score 4+ goals in their wins and are just not competitive offensively in the losses. The Wild are more consistent offensively and have goalies that can limit the Sabres offensive chances. I like the Wild on the puck line here.
