The Preds face the Isles tonight in Long Island. The Preds are on a B2B after beating the Devils 4-3 last night in OT, they’ve been playing better of late winning 3 of their last 4. The Isles are off a loss to the lowly Flyers 3-1 as a big road favorite. The Preds have totally owned this matchup dating back all the way back to 2018; the Preds have not lost to the Isles since 2017. The Preds have won 8 straight overall versus the Isles and the last 5 played in Long Island. The Isles are also decimated on the right side of their lines at their top 3 right wingers (Palmieiri, Bailey & Clutterbuck) are all injured. I like the Preds as a nice dog here.

Toronto Raptors +105

The Raps are in Brooklyn to face the Nets tonight. The Raps are off a real embarrassing loss to the Pelicans 126-108 Wednesday night where they feel behind late in the first quarter and were never in the game. I expect a rebound performance versus the Nets as I highly doubt coach N. Nurse has the Raps play 2 duds in a row. The Raps are healthy again with the Siakam, Barnes & VanVleet being 100% and I expect them to use their length on the defensive end to give the Nets problem. I like the Raps as a small dog here.

Illinois Fighting Illini +105

We have a Big10 matchup between the #16 Fighting Illini and the #22 Maryland Terrapins. The Illini are 6-1 with their only loss to the #3 Virginia Cavaliers while the Terrapins are undefeated at 7-0, however, haven’t really beat anyone of substance to this point. Even though the Illini are on the road I feel they are more battle tested with games versus #3 Virginia & UCLA to start the season. This is a matchup that has been dominated with the underdog and with a line this low I will back the Illini to win this game straight up.
