The Knights host the Kings tonight in a game between teams playing total opposite quality of hockey right now. The Kings have 4 of their last 5 games while the Knights have lost 4 straight and 5 of their last 6 games. Goaltending is real issue for the Knights now as they given up 4+ goals in all of their recent 5 losses and things will not get easier for them tonight as the Kings have scored 3+ goals in 4 of their last 5. Add that to the fact that the Kings are road warriors at 13-1-1 on the season and the Knights are in trouble for this game. The Knights are stuck starting J. Patera in goal due to the injuries to L. Thompson and A. Hill and they aren't the same team with him. I like the Kings here.
Philadelphia Flyers/Vancouver Canucks U6.5 -115
The Flyers are in Vancouver to face the Canucks tonight, again with this game being the first for both teams I expect both #1 goalies to be starting. The Flyers are a big under team on the season at 19-12-2, while the Canucks play to the over more often, however, a lot of those overs where versus goalies that surrendered plenty of goals. Tonight the will face either S. Ersson or C. Hart which have been strong on the season. I think with the combination of one of those two goalies and T. Demko, goals will be hard to come by tonight.
San Antonio Spurs +147
The Spurs (4-25) visit the Trail Blazer (8-21) in a matchup of two of the weaker teams in the Western Conference. The Blazers will be without two significant contributors tonight in S. Sharpe and D. Ayton due to injuries which will make them prime for being upset. They will be missing 30 points and 16 boards per game between the two, that isn't easily replaced with bench players. Yes the Spurs are not great and and won't many games this season, but this is the type of game versus a weaker team and missing key players that is winnable for them. I like the Spurs to surprise the Blazers.
