Well the effects of the new coach have seemed to have worn off after a 2 game win streak for the Blues as they got smoked 6-1 last time out by the Bolts. Tonight they need to regroup versus a Panthers team that is solid at home at 9-4 on the season and is happy to be home after a long 5 game west coast trip. Goaltending continues to be an issue for the Blues and facing a Panthers team that scores goals with ease on home ice won't be fun for them. J. Binnington is the projected starter and he continues to struggle this season, I like the Panthers by multiple goals tonight.

Vancouver Canucks +133

The Canucks continue to get disrespected by odds makers with this line tonight for their game versus the Stars. The Canucks have been one of the premier teams in the league since the start of the season and to be this big of a dog on the road is just preposterous, especially with the Stars being forced to start backup S. Wedgewood with J. Oettinger injured. The Canucks have the better goalie starting, are the better defensive team 81 to 95 goals conceded and the better offensive team 125 to 107 goals scored compared to the Stars. I will back the Canucks at +133 when they're better at every facet of the game statistically over the Stars.

OKC Thunder -4.5 -108

The Thunder host the Clippers tonight, the Clippers look to extend their winning streak to 10 games, while the Thunder try to win extend their win streak to 3. The Clippers will be playing their 3rd game in 4 nights and the question becomes how many minutes will K. Leonard play, even though he hasn't missed a game for load management so far this season, he has played substantially less minutes in games on B2B, usually less than 30. With P. George dealing with an illness and K. Leonard most probably playing less than 30 minutes, will the Clippers get enough from J, Harden, T. Mann and others to keep this game within the number versus this young Thunder team? I don't think so, I like to the Thunder to cover this number and end the Clippers winning streak.
