The Habs head out to Winnipeg to begin a 7 game road trip that will only see them return to Montreal in the New Year. The Habs face this gauntlet on a yearly basis and don't really perform well. It's unfortunate for the older players that they have to be away from their families during the holidays on a yearly basis. The Habs are going with J. Allen in goal tonight and he hasn't played much of late and for just cause as his GAA is 3.57 and the Habs have lost 8 of his 11 starts on the season. He's given up 3+ goals in 9 of his 11 starts this season. The Jets are playing really well at the moment having won 7 of their last 8 games and have confirmed C. Hellebuyck as their starter, he continues to be one of the premier goalies in the league. The Jets should find the back of the net often enough tonight to cover the puck line and cash the over.

Minnesota TWolves -122

The TWolves start a mini 2 game road trip with a visit to the Heat tonight, the Wolves have won 8 of their last 9 games and it looks like A. Edwards has elevated himself as one of the better all around players in the league averaging 24.2 points, 5.1 assists & 5.3 rebounds per game. Add that to KAT, Rudy Gobert and veteran PG M. Conley and the TWolves have an impressive starting core. The Heat have won 3 of their last 4 but those wins have not been impressive as all three were versus the Hornets and Bulls which have a combined 17 wins between both teams. The TWolves will be a much stiffer test for the Heat and they will not be lucky enough to squeak by. I like the TWolves to win this game.
