Oakland A's +110
After sweeping the DBacks, the Rays now travel across the country to head to Oakland for a four game series versus the A's. The Rays send T. Bradley to the mound to face J. Boyle. Bradley has not been very good after going through a great stretch were the Rays won 7 of his 8 starts. Over his last 3 starts, Bradley's ERA is 9.64 and the Rays lost all 3 games by 3 runs or more. Boyle will be making his 2nd start since coming off the IL which he was on on since the beginning of May. He wasn't pitching well then and also wasn't great in his last start. The A's are playing well above expectations this season and are 30-31 at the Coliseum and cannot be taken lightly anymore. Bradley will continue to struggle tonight and the A's take this game.
Baltimore Orioles +115 & Baltimore Orioles/NY Mets U9 -110
The Orioles start a three game series with the Mets tonight in Queens, a series which is very important to both teams. The O's are battling the Yankees for the AL East division lead while the Mets are trying to catch the Braves for the final Wild Card spot in the NL. It will be T. Rogers on the mound facing D. Peterson tonight, Peterson has really pitched well over his last 3 starts giving up only 3 ER over 17 1/3 IP, however, he hasn't faced anything special in terms of offensive teams as those starts were versus the Angels, Rockies and A's. Tonight will be very different versus a lineup that has Henderson, Santander and Rutschman in it just to name a few. Rogers has not been very good since being acquired from the Marlins in 3 starts, however, he did pitch versus the Mets in July when still with the Marlins and performed well in a 4-2 win. I think we see that Rogers tonight versus the Mets as the O's take this game as a dog and it stays under the total.
