LA Dodgers/Milwaukee Brewers O9 -105

The Dodgers look to win their 6th straight game and sweep the Brewers tonight, it will be W. Buehler on the mound versus F. Montas. Buehler will making his first start since June 18th as he needed to head to the IL after returning from Tommy John surgery earlier this season. Buehler hasn't been in top form since his return with a 5.84 ERA over 8 starts. Montas hasn't been very effective since he was acquired by the Vrewers from the Reds, in 2 starts his ERA is 6.00 and both games have flown over the total with 11 and 23 runs scored. The Brewers have also provided him with excellent run support, 24 in both games. The Dodgers offense is back on track with the return of F. Freeman and M. Betts having scored 4 plus runs in 6 straight games with the over hitting in 4 of them. I like a high scoring finale in G3 of this series.  

Chicago Cubs +123 & Chicago Cubs/Cleveland Guardians O8.5 -105

The Cubs and Guardians close off their three game series tonight in a game where the Cubs look to avoid being swept, it will J. Taillon versus A. Cobb on the mound. Taillon has performed well for the Cubs this season with a 3.50 ERA and normally good for 6 solid innings a start. Cobb will only be making his 2nd start of the season and he wasn't very good in his first versus the Twins allowing 4 ER in 4 2/3 IP in a 6-3 loss. I don't expect him to have much success tonight either as Cobb has been a 3rd to 4th starter at best in a rotation during his career. The Cubs bats were quiet last night but I expect them to bounce back nicely versus a not so great Cobb and take this game versus the Guardians and it will go over as well.
