The Astros ran their winning streak to 6 games last night as they defeated the Rays by a score of 6-1, tonight they send Y. Kikuchi to the mound to face S. Baz. Kikuchi has pitched well for the Astros since being acquired from the Jays at the trade deadline, is 2 starts both Astros victories he has an ERA of 3.27 with 19Ks. For the Rays, Baz's season only started in July as he was on the IL, he's been mediocre as he clearly isn't in top form yet, the Rays are clearly being careful with Baz as only twice in six starts has he been able to get to the 6th inning. The Astros offense is hot right now as they've scored 4 runs or more in every game during this 6 game winning streak, the same cannot be said of the Rays as they've scored more than 2 runs in a game only once over their last 4 games. I like the Astros to continue staying how by running the win streak with a multi run win.  

Texas Rangers +127 & Texas Rangers/Boston Red Sox O10 -105

The Rangers and Red Sox play G2 of their series tonight when J. Urena faces K. Crawford on the mound. Last night needed extra innings to push on the total of 9, tonight shouldn't be the case with these two starters. Urena's ERA is starting to sky rocket as it has on every team he's ever pitched for, he starts off strong and then regresses badly, no different this season for Texas, Over his last 2 starts his ERA is 10.13 with both games flying over the posted total, Crawford is in a really bad place right now and can't get batters out with any consistency, over his last 4 starts, 3 of which have been losses, his ERA is 10.61 which resulted in all 4 games going over the total with the lowest amount of runs scored being 12. Clearly neither of these starters is pitching well and I expect that pattern to continue tonight, I will also back the underdog Rangers here as Crawford is actually pitching worse than Urena.
