The Sabres are in Columbus to face the Blue Jackets tonight, the Sabres look to build off thier 3-2 win over the Habs on Wednesday night. The Jackets are back home after a 4 game road trip that saw them go 2-2, however, both wins were versus the weak Sharks and Ducks. The Jackets have confirmed D. Tarasov as their starter in goal and even though he played well versus the Ducks in their 7-4 win, I do not see him playing two strong games in a row, there is a reason why his GAA is 3.78 on the season. The Sabres will have a big advantage in goal as UP. Luukkonen has only allowed 8 goals over his last 4 starts with the Sabres winning 3 of them. I like to Sabres to pot 4+ goals tonight to get the cover on the puck line and get us over the total.

Minnesota Wild/Edmonton Oilers O6.5 -123 

The Wild are in Edmonton to face the Oilers tonight. The over train is back in Edmonton as the Oilers have played to the over in 5 straight games. The Oilers offense is rolling scoring 4+ goals in 4 of their last 5 games, however, their goaltending is starting to falter again as the combo of C. Pickard and S. Skinner has given up 3+ plus goals in 8 straight games. The Wild have been no slouches themselves on the offensive end scoring 3+ goals in 5 of their last 6 games while also allowing 3+ goals in 4 of their last 5. This game has the makings of a goal fest and I see 7 goals scored being a minimum here.
