The DBacks continue their series with the Royals tonight when J. Montgomery faces A. Marsh on the mound. We had fireworks last night as some players on the Royals bench believed the DBacks intentionally hit B. Witt Jr. as he was going for the cycle, so we may see some action again here. The over has to be the play here as neither starter is pitching well of late, the over has cashed in 6 straight Montgomery starts and 6 of the last 8 Marsh starts. The DBacks have provided Montgomery with plenty of runs support as they’ve been able to win 3 of those 6 starts which he didn’t pitch well. I expect a high scoring game here and Montgomery to pitch better than Marsh to allow the DBacks to win by multiple runs.  

NY Yankees -1.5 +132

The Yankees look to carry their momentum from yesterday’s big win over the Rays into their subway series with the Mets tonight. It will be J. Quintana versus L. Gil on the mound, Gil has rebounded quite nicely after a rough stretch towards the end of June, he had two really good starts versus the Red Sox & O’s where he allowed only 2 ER over 12 2/3 IP while striking out 16 batters. Quintana has pitched well for the Mets this season but will have trouble versus the Yanks as several of their players perform well versus left handed pitchers particularly A. Judge, J. Soto & A. Wells. I like Quintana to get roughed up tonight and the Yanks to take this game by multiple runs.
