The Canucks look to bounce back from a 2-1 SO loss to the Wild this afternoon when they face the Blackhawks, yes the Canucks will be on a B2B here but the Blackhawks aren't in a good place right now, they've lost 3 straight and 7 of 10. Their 3 wins during this 10 game stretch were versus the Ducks Kraken and Blues, not the creme de la creme of the NHL. 6 of thier 7 losses were all by multiple goals and I see this afternoon being no different, the Canucks will have T. Demko in goal after C. DeSmith got the start yesterday meaning the Hawks will have a tough time scoring goals, Canucks win big today.

Ottawa Senators/LV Knights O6.5 -108

The Sens are in Vegas to play the Knights tonight, this is game 3 of a 5 game trip for the Sens, to date the Sens have yet to win a game. The Sens are on a 3 game losing streak and goaltending continues to be an issue for them as they've surrendered 12 goals over the 3 losses and have given up 4 plus goals in 7 of their last 10 goals. The Knights for their part have won 4 of their last 5 games but their goaltending which has been such a strong asset for them this season is starting to regress a little. They've given up 4, 4 & 5 goals respectively over their last 3 games. I think both teams will easily get over the 6.5 total in tonight's game.

Atlanta Falcons -2.5 -115

The playoff lives of the Atlanta Falcons hangs in the balance today when they head to Carolina to play the Panthers. At 6-7 and tied with the Bucs and Saints for the NFC South lead this is a game they cannot take lightly just because they're playing the 1-12 Panthers. Yes the Panthers have proven to be the most inept team in the league but the line of -2.5 should tell you all you need to know about what Vegas thinks of the Falcons. A loss would not eliminate the Falcons but I could only imagine what it would do to their mindset going forward losing to the Panthers. I like HC A. Smith to have his team use B. Robinson quite often today to take advantage of the Panthers weak run defense that ranks in the bottom 3rd of the league.
