The Reds continue their series with the DBacks tonight when H. Greene faces S. Cecconi on the mound, this will actually be a rematch from five days ago when in Cincy when Cecconi outpitched Greene in a DBacks 5-4 win. Greene has been great on the road this season with an 0.82 ERA whereas Cecconi was terrible in his lone home start this season getting roughed up by the Padres. You have to ask yourself if that will be a trend going forward for him. Last night’s game between these two teams gave us 11 runs scored and I expect another high scoring game here, however, Greene will outpitch Cecconi here and get the Reds the win. I like the Reds and the over here.

Detroit Tigers -1.5 +124

The Tigers look to make it two straight versus the Marlins tonight when R. Weathers faces R. Olson on the mound. Outside of one bad start Olson has been spot on in his other 6 starts on the season, his ERA on the season is 2.52 and significantly better at home at 1.35. Weathers has been serviceable for the Marlins but is going to give up his normal 3-4 ER per game which he’s done now in four straight starts. The Marlins have lost 6 of Weathers’ 8 starts on the season and all 6 losses have been by 2 runs or more. With Olson pitching so well at Comerica Park, I like the Tigers to win this game by multiple runs.
