The Twins look to salvage a game of three game series this afternoon when J. Ryan faces C. Schmidt on the mound. The Twins offense have been silent through 2 games scoring 1 run, things may not be easy for them today as Schmidt has pitched well this season (2.95 ERA). However, sweeping series in baseball is not easy to do and will be even more difficult today as the Yanks are sitting 3 regulars. I believe J. Ryan will be able to limit the Yanks lineup this afternoon especially if he can get outs at the top of the lineup. The Twins are starting their regular lineup looking to win this game and I don't believe they will be shutdown for a third game in a row. I'm seeing a victory for the Twins in the 4-2, 5-2 range, giving us the run line and under wins here.

NY Mets/Philadelphia Phillies U8 even

The Mets and Phils finish off their four game series tonight, the Mets have lost all three so far and look to J. Quintana to stop the bleeding here. The Phils will counter with T. Walker, after a rough start in his first start of the season in late April, Walker has gotten better in every start start. His last start was his best when he pitched 6 innings allowing only 1 ER versus the Marlins. Quintana has not been at his best this season with a 5.44 ERA, however, the Mets have not provided him with much to any run support as 6 of his 8 starts have gone under the total. The projected weather for this game supports the under here as the wind will be blowing in limiting the possibilities of home runs. I like the under in this game.
