Seattle Mariners -1.5 +149 & KC Royals/Seattle Mariners O7.5 -115
The Royals and Mariners play the rubber match of their three game series this afternoon when A. Marsh faces B. Woo on the mound. Marsh has been solid for the Royals this season with a 2.53 ERA and the Royals winning all six of his starts. Woo was solid in his first start of the season five days ago as he shutout the A's over 4 1/3 IP as he was on a pitch count, he should have a longer leash today in his second start. The Mariners offense has been a little hit or miss of late as they either score 6 to 8 runs or 1 over their last 8-10 games and considering they scored 1 last night, they're on deck to break out this afternoon. The Royals have also provided Marsh with plenty of run support in his starts this season, scoring on average 5.5 runs per game. I like both offenses to score today, with the Mariners offense being more productive, I like the Mariners on the run line and over the total.
Colorado Rockies/SD Padres O7.5 +110
Every time you think the Padres have turned a corner, they do something like they've done over the last 2 games versus the Rockies looking terrible losing two games versus one of the worst teams in baseball. Today the look to salvage a game in this series when M. King faces A. Gomber on the mound. King has been very good on the season but surprisingly enough has struggled at Petco Park with a 4.41 ERA and 2 of his 3 starts going over the total. Gomber has good numbers in terms of ERA, however, he has benefitted from facing teams that have struggled offensively, he will not have that luxury today versus a Padres offense that can score runs. M. Ripperger is behind the plate with his 6-1 record to the over this season. I like the over in this game.
