The Brewers and Astros play G2 of their series tonight when B. Wilson faces J. Verlander on the mound, The Astros took the opener 5-4 last night and have now extended their win streak to 6 games and are starting to look like the Astros of the past at least offensively. The Astros have scored 3 runs or more in 5 of their 6 games during this streak. Wilson has pitched well for the Brewers this season, but has benefitted from the fact of pitching versus some weaker offensive clubs in the Rays, Pirates and Cards, tonight will be much different versus the Astros that seem to be seeing the ball as big as a beach ball. Verlander has been very good since coming off the IL, pitching well in 4 of his 5 starts, but it still vulnerable to giving up 2-3 runs a start. The Brewers should be able to get their 2-3 runs here and the Astros will be able to get theirs versus Wilson who is bound to regress going forward, I like the Astros on the run line and over the total in this game,. 

Boston Red Sox -1.5 +148 

The Red Sox look to rebound from last night beat down from the Cardinals 10-6, They look to C. Crawford to end their current 3 game losing streak, what will aid them in ending this streak is facing M. Mikolas. Mikolas has been pretty awful for the Cards this season with a 6.19 ERA overall and it's been even worse at home at 7.19. Mikolas cannot get the fastball by batters this season and it's creating a lot of action on the bases as hos WHIP is a brutal 1.48, with that kind of activity on the bases, it is only normal to give up a lot of runs. With the trade of C. Sale and then the injuries to L. Giolito and G. Whitlock, many thought this was going to be a lost season for the Sox, but today's starter C. Crawford has been a revelation for them so far pitching to a 2.24 ERA and giving them a chance to win every 5th day. He has a 1.59 road ERA and home plate umpire is 8-0 to the road team this season, I like the Red Sox on the run line today.
