Tonight is G2 of this series between the Cubs and Jays, the Jays took it 5-4 in extra last night. Tonight it will be former Blue Jay M. Stroman versus K. Gausman on the mound. I expect Stroman to be dealing tonight versus his former club as he’s got a lot of pride and will be pump to face his former club. Gausman has been hit or miss lately in his starts, in 3 of his last 5 starts he has surrendered 0 runs and in the other 2 he gave up 9. The Cubs lineup can be shut down with a good pitcher on the mound and I like Gausman to do that tonight.

Cleveland Guardians -1.5 +142

The O’s are in Cleveland for a 3 game series with the Guardians. The O’s send S. Watkins to the mound to face C. Quantrill; Watkins has pitched well of late, however, has been a hard luck loser as the O’s have lost his last 3 starts. Quantrill is rolling for the Guardians; they have won his last 9 starts winning 7 of those by multiple runs. Add to that, the Guardians have won 10 of Quantrill 13 home starts and it clear to see that Guardians win with regularity when Quantrill is on the mound. Guardians win by multiple runs here.

Houston Astros/Texas Rangers U7.5 -118

The Astros face the Rangers tonight in Arlington. The Astros send F. Valdez to the mound to face D. Dunning; Valdez will be making his 4th start versus the Rangers and he has dominated them in all 3, giving up 1 earned run over 20 innings. Dunning will be making his 3rd start versus the Astros and he’s pitched well versus them as well giving up 2 earned runs over 11 and 2/3 innings. With this type of dominance by both pitchers I like a low scoring game tonight.

Kansas City Royals +117

The Royals are in Chicago to face the White Sox, it will be B. Singer versus L. Giolito on the mound. Giolito pitched well in his last start versus the Orioles but has had difficulty all season pitching well in back to back starts. A good start has been followed by a terrible start. For KC; Singer has been light in his last 7 starts, the Royals are 5-2 while his ERA is 1.79 and WHIP is .90. Singer is 2-1 versus the White Sox this season with an ERA of 2.21, I like the Royals as a dog tonight.
