With the Guardians having lost 3 straight, the AL Central has become a 3 team race for the division, with the Twins 1 game back and White Sox 3 behind anyone of these teams could take it with 30 some odd games remaining. The Sox took it last night versus the Twins 4-3 with a walk off victory. Personally I think the Sox had addition by subtraction with manager T. La Russo away from the team, I have never been convinced the players have been happy with him dating back to last season even when they made the playoffs. Surprise surprise, he’s been away from the team for 3 games and the Sox have won everyone one of them. I like the Sox with D. Cease on the mound to beat T. Mahle and the Twins by multiple runs.

Los Angeles Angels -1.5 +162

The Angels look to even this series tonight when L. Garcia faces S. Ohtani on the mound. Ohtani will be making his 4th start versus the Stros this season and he’s dominated them, he’s given up 2 earned runs over 16 2/3 innings while striking out 23 batters; the Angels won 2 of the 3 starts and both were by multiple runs. For the Stros Garcia has not been great lately, in his last 7 starts his ERA is 5.22 and WHIP is 1.43 and the Stros have had to score 6 or more runs to wins games. I don’t see that happening versus Ohtani whom has shut them down all season.

Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 -103

The Dodgers got smoked last night 7-1 to the Padres and I like them to return the favor tonight. It will be S. Manaea versus J. Urias on the mound; Manaea has been crushed by the Dodgers in his 2 starts this season giving up 14 earned runs in 8 1/3 innings in losses by 8 & 7 runs. For the Dodgers, Urias has been dealing; they’ve won 12 of his last 13 starts with 11 of them being by multiple runs. I don’t see the result being any different tonight with the struggles Manaea has had versus the Dodgers and Urias’ overall dominance. Dodgers win big.
