The Padres & Mets is the only series that is going to a decisive 3rd game in the opening round of the MLB postseason. It will be J. Musgrove versus the C. Bassitt on the mound; surprisingly this series has produced a lot of runs considering the big names that have toed the rubber in the first 2 games. Neither Bassitt nor Musgrove had much success versus their opponent tonight during the regular season so we could definitely be in for another high scoring game and if that is the case I’d rather back the Mets offense over that of the Padres. I like the Mets by multiple runs here.

Washington Commanders even

The 2-2 Titans are in Washington DC to face the 1-3 Commanders; my thought process for this game is similar to that of the Duke Blue Devils of yesterday, the Titans are 2-2 but those 2 victories were versus the 1-3 Raiders and for the moment the offensively inept 2-2-1 Colts. Should they really be a favorite on the road to any team in the NFL right now? I know the Commanders have not looked good over the last 3 weeks but the Titans are probably one of the best teams to host to break a 3 game losing streak. I like the Commanders here today.

Cincinnati Bengals +152

We have a juicy AFC North matchup for the SNF game between the 2-2 Bengals and the 2-2 Ravens. This matchup was one that was dominated by the Ravens (5 straight wins) till last season when the Bengals swept the 2 games. The main reason being the performance of rookie sensation J. Chase; Chase torched the Ravens secondary for a total of 15 catches, 326 yards and 1 TD. Last season, J. Burrow was not pressured by the Ravens D Line and that allowed him to pick apart the Ravens secondary, the D Line hasn’t improved much and the Dolphins proved that this Ravens secondary can get burned by speedy WRs. I like J. Chase and T. Higgins to have big days and the Bengals to take this game.
