Green on the mound; Wesneski has been really solid since being added to the rotation posting an ERA of 1.96 over 3 starts and never allowing more than 2 runs in a game. H. Greene has really pitched since coming off the IL but the Reds have provided him with absolutely no runs support, since coming of the IL Greene has allowed 2 ER over 17 innings and the Reds have lost all 3 games, so just imagine how bad their offense has been. The Cubs are red hot right now and will back them to extend their winning streak to 8.

Houston Astros -1.5 +179

The Phillies visit the Astros with their playoff aspirations in their own hands, win and they’re in as they hold a 2 game lead over the Brewers with 3 to play. Tonight it will be A. Nola versus L. McCullers on the mound. McCullers has been brilliant since coming of the IL with a 2.38 ERA overall and even better at 1.50 at home. Nola has pitched well as of late statistically speaking; however, his numbers are skewed over his last 7 starts as he’s dominated the likes of Cincy, Washington and Miami, remove those 3 games and his ERA is 6.85 and the Phillies lost 3 of the 4 starts. The Astros are not the Reds, Nats or Marlins, so I think the Phillies are in trouble tonight.

Los Angeles Rams +110

Tonight we have a nice divisional matchup between the Rams and 49ers for MNF. The Rams look to extend their lead in the NFC west with a victory while the 49ers try to cause a 3 way tie for the division with a victory. Like many other QBs in the league, 49ers QB J. Garoppolo does not play well under pressure, tonight they’ll be missing tackle Trent Williams and that is big piece when you’re facing A. Donald, L. Floyd and B. Wagner. Last season, the 49ers never had a solution to stop C. Kupp as he torched them for 29 receptions, 382 yards and 3 TDs over 3 games (2 regular season & 1 playoff game) and can’t see them stopping him tonight. I like to Rams to pressure Jimmy G all night and get a victory on the road.
