The Blues visit the Predators tonight and will be on a B2B after losing to the Oilers 3-1 last night. The Blues offense has struggled over their last 3 games scoring a combined 3 goals in losing 2 of the 3 games. Missing P. Buchnevich is clearly a problem for them. Tonight they face a Predators team this is well rested having not played in 5 days and that is hungry for a win having lost 5 straight. The Blues are projected to go with backup T. Greiss and the Blues have had little success winning games in Nashville having lost 11 of the 14 meetings there. I like the Preds to right the ship tonight.

Chicago Blackhawks +181

The Oilers are in Chicago to face the Blackhawks. Too the surprise of many the Hawks have won 4 straight and are undefeated on home ice. I think the Hawks are catching the Oilers in a good spot; the Oilers are on a B2B off a big road win over the Blues and will be playing their 4th game in 6 nights. Add to that, the Oilers have lost their last 5 games at the United Center and you have the makings off an upset for a big dog. I like the Hawks to continue their dominance of the Oilers at a really nice price tonight.

Seattle Kraken -1.5 +194

The winless Canucks (0-7) visit the Kraken that have surprisingly played well to start the season. The Canucks were scoring goals to start the season but weren’t playing well defensively or getting good goaltending which resulted in losses, now they have injuries to offensive minded players in B. Boeser & Q. Hughes which is making things even harder as they’ve only scored 3 goals in their last 2 losses. Things are snowballing in Vancouver and not in a good way. The Kraken have yet to beat the Canucks as Vancouver won all 4 games last season. I like the Kraken to get that first win versus the Canucks that are in a bad place.
