Toronto Maple Leafs -1.5 +216

The Leafs are in Sin City for G2 of their current west coast road trip, it started off with a 4-1 victory over the Jets this weekend and after tonight moves to California for games with the Sharks, Kings and Ducks. Vegas did not look great on Saturday night versus the Avs in a game where situationally they had a clear advantage. I do not think the Knights have to offense to keep up with the Leafs tonight and will have issues putting the puck behind I. Samsonov who’s endearing himself with Leafs fans with his performance (4-0, 1.73 GAA) to start the season. I like the Leafs by a couple here.

Edmonton Oilers -1.5 +199

The Penguins are in Edmonton to face the Oilers, outside of their 6 goal outburst versus the Canes last week; the Oilers haven’t been great in their last 3 games scoring a total of 5 goals. However, when you have Draisaitl and McDavid in your lineup you can score 5-6 goals on any given night on even the best goalie in the league. The Oilers have won the last 2 matchups by scores of 5-1 & 5-2, the Penguins cannot afford to come out slow versus the Oilers like they did on Saturday versus the Blue Jackets on their could be in for a long night. Oilers win a couple or more tonight.

Houston Rockets +110

The Jazz (3-0) are in Houston to face the Rockets (0-3), I guess Jazz coach W. Hardy and the rest of the roster didn’t get the message that they were/are supposed to be one of the worst NBA teams in the league after offloading D. Mitchell, R. Gobert and others during the offseason. All the Jazz have done is beat the Nuggets, TWolves and Pelicans 3 games in. The Jazz have been able to do this is by jacking up 126 3-pointers in the 3 games. This line looks like a trap to me, the Jazz have not lost a game beating 3 good teams mentioned above and now visit the winless Rockets (avg. margin per loss is 13 points) and are only 2 point favorites! I’ll bite and back the Rockets to upset the Jazz as a home dog.
